Change the shortcut, or hold to talk

The shortcut starts and stops dictation. The default is Ctrl+Alt+Space. Open Bedrock Flow from the tray icon, then click Settings at the top. The shortcut is under General.

1. Click the shortcut box and press the keys you want.
2. Under How it works, choose Press to toggle (press once to start, again to stop) or Hold to talk (hold while you speak, let go to type it).
3. Cancel recording (Escape by default) throws a recording away while you are still talking.

The shortcut does nothing

• Another app may use the same keys. Pick a different shortcut, for example one with Ctrl+Shift.
• Bedrock Flow must be running. Look for its icon in the tray, next to the clock. Turn on Start with Windows under General, This PC, so it is always there.
• Apps that run as administrator can block shortcuts and typing from other apps. See "My words are not typed".
