Text takes a long time to appear

Speed depends on your PC, the length of the dictation and Auto-edit.

Check Settings, Advanced, Processing. If it says CPU and you have a graphics card, choose the graphics card.
Auto-edit adds a short step after each dictation. Turn it off under Writing to compare.
Long dictations take longer. Several shorter ones feel faster.
Close heavy apps such as games or video editors while you dictate.
