Bedrock Dictate
vs Superwhisper.

Superwhisper started on Mac and now runs on Windows 10 and 11. Like Bedrock Dictate it can turn speech into text on your own computer with local models, and it adds cloud models and AI modes on its Pro plan. The differences are in what the free plan includes, how editing works and what each app is built around.

  • Works on Mac and iPhone too, with one licence for all your devices.
  • A lifetime licence for $249.99, and a lower yearly price.

Where your
voice goes.

With its local models, Superwhisper says your audio never leaves your machine; its Pro plan adds cloud models, which work online. Bedrock Dictate only ever turns your speech into text on your PC, and its Auto-edit runs on your PC too.

Bedrock Dictate is built local first. Your dictation history is saved on your PC, and your vocabulary, snippets and styles are backed up to your account so they follow you to a new PC. Your recordings and your words are never part of that.
